outsourcing to India

This time the Economist has taken up my most favorite topic.
It displays some of the current issues to deal with. Visa regulations and political interferences will probably not last long.
More difficult are the attrition rates:
"Gartner, a consultancy, believes this has reached around 40% a year in call-centers."The last sentence of the article is pointing in the right direction:
"Best-placed are those firms that have already moved upmarket: away from call-centers and towards the outsourcing of more sophisticated business processes.". More about this is here.
