- Germany boosts a TEA (Total Entrepreneurial Activity) of 5.1 % meaning 5.1 % of the population do consider being an entrepreneur o rare already (Rank #24) worldwide
- More Young Entrepreneurs' and less Nascent Entrepreneurs'
- Much less opportunity seeking entrepreneurs in Germany
- Many company formation because of the publicly sponsored Ich-AG" foundations that do paint a slightly wrong picture
- Germany is now ranked #10 in factors for location and has a much showing #1 ranking in public spending on entrepreneurs
- Tax structure, political environment, non-curriculum education were the weaknesses (Interesting point: the guys here in Starbucks besides me just talk about SkypeIn and SkypeOut -- find somebody in Germany who knows about this)
- Tertiary education provides an insufficient preparation for German entrepreneurs (having studied at a German university) I can only agree with
- East Germany
and West Germany show little difference in entrepreneurship factors- Germans are terrified that their venture could go the wrong way only Greeks, French and Israelis (!) are more worried about this
- The overall mood forming a venture has been steadily decreasing, while other country (notably France) saw an improvement.
