Zipcar has closed a first stage of series C with $2 million. Zipcar is a clever model for car sharing. Car sharing is supported heavily by many European cities. It is almost ubiquitous in Germany and Switzerland. Yet service often lacks perfection. Zipcar might have the chance to offer a professional and hopefully profitable service in US.
