YouSendIt is one of the companies I use from time to time to send bigger files with minimum hassle. While the emails you get after registration are a bit annoying it works and is a great service. Whenever I use it however I have a bad conscious as it seems I just used up 200 MB of bandwidth (up and down) for zero revenues of that company.
Apparently I'm too worried about the prospects of the company - YouSendIt convinced new investors:
"...which provides file delivery software-as-a-service for small and medium-sized businesses, said Tuesday it raised $10 million in a second round of funding. The funds came from Sigma Partners, which has an office in Menlo Park, and Alloy Ventures and Sevin Rosen Funds, which have offices in Palo Alto.
Mountain View-based YouSendIt said it serves more than four million registered users from 220 countries and registers more than 350,000 new users each month. In connection with the funding, Bob Spinner of Sigma Partners joined the company's board."

It is great to hear that yousendit seems to have enough money to keep up this service. It is just great that is possible to send really huge files for free.
