Maybe I'm late with this, but I haven't seen it before. Yahoo displays the XML file separately and links directly from search results to the "add site to MyYahoo feedreader" feature. That's what I call Innovation, now Google has to hurry...

There has always been a rumour, completely unfounded in my opinion, that the major search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN were going to start discriminating against blogs. Of course, that would require their algorithm determining what is and what is not a blog. It would also mean denying their own recommendations for all websites. Those recommendations include frequent additions of fresh content and lots of links. Those are both major features of blogs. Yahoo has recognized the power of blogs. It's now time for Google to catch up.

Another intersting development is that Google reduced the page rank of many well connected weblogs from 6 to 5. It' seems Google goes the other way as Yahoo and moves away from the dominance of weblogs...
