I got a very kind invitation from re:invention a weblog dedicated to women entrepreneurs. A wonderful site that blames women's business plans for getting less VC investments and Kirsten asks how this can be overcome.

In my opinion writing good or great business plans is becoming easier and easier. Here are two links that help much. There are also some quite experienced people around in the web (incl. myself from time to time) that would be happy to screen a business plan before sending it into the VCs.

If you ask me a personal presentation that really stands out from the rest makes the difference. In this discipline social skills mastered by most women better then men count enormously. So in the end investments should be equal.

That they are not has a simple reason - many investments are tech driven and there are much fewer women out there eager to enter the tech business seriously. Unfortunately we'll need some years to overcome it...
