In the past few years, more and more entrepreneurs seem to be approaching VCs with the aim of being acquired by successful companies like Google, Yahoo and EBay instead of going public. At the same time, it has been reported, venture capitalists are increasingly seeking technologies or services that might plug holes in the portfolios of those large such companies.
