gets a bit more interesting. Oatsystems a software provider has closed the first round with an impressive USD 11.5 mio. from Matrixpartners and Greylock Management. The RFID management software closes the gap between the ERP/SCM systems and the new tags:
"The software can track all assets and inventory having tags, including returns and special orders. The software generates multilingual status reports about product, alerts, theft, and hardware that it tracks. Senseware is designed for retail volumes and is hardware vendor independent, interfacing with leading providers of (RFID) readers and tags."
