Rosum a Silicon Valley start-up claims to have "... developed a technology that uses television signals to provide accurate, dependable mobile positioning." It enables the positioning of cell phone users.
This sounds a bit shaky but see the Management Team. The who-is-who of positioning systems! Rosum could raise USD 16 mio. some months back from investors like Motorola or Charles River Ventures, not exactly inexperienced investors.
