Entrepreneurship
by Greg Cruey on February 5, 2009
Young Entrepreneur published a post late last month. Call it inspiration if it motivates you, or scare tactics if you think about the hardships it mentions and you decide that maybe the life of an entrepreneur is not for you...
The post is a follow up on an earlier story about Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard. And it asks a simple question: Do you have the guts to be an entrepreneur?

The post is a follow up on an earlier story about Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard. And it asks a simple question: Do you have the guts to be an entrepreneur?
To outsiders, and even to their own staff on occasion, Hewlett and Packard could have seemed like just your average friendly college buddies... But despite their seemingly compassionate natures and generous human resource management policies, Hewlett and Packard were in business to make a buck. And, when it came down to it, they were willing to do whatever it took to get on top.So, can you do that? Whatever it takes? Eventually, it will take guts.

The thing that people don't write about is that most entrepreuners - the successful ones - set aside their personal lives and focus 24/7 on building up the company. Has to be a passion, not just a job.
