the greed game
Filed in archive Venture Capital by tj on April 22, 2004
Well this is the other face of venture capital:

"All of this is the nature of the beast, capitalism in its truest form. But many of the ground rules from the last cycle will hold true in this round. Greed has certain predictability. One: It will always return. Two: It hates to loose. So one can always (and should) depend on competition in the game. Success (as measured by strong interest and acceptable valuations) depends on getting more than one party at the table. It is only at that point that you have a real game."
Thanks Stefan!
