VentureWire (which btw upgraded my account recently to a professional version thanks guys!) reports on Streamload a pretty innovative company and their seed round.
"David Titus, managing partner at Windward Ventures, the venture capital firm that led the round, said that the company declines to disclose the amount it raised, but that his firm "tends to invest between $3 million and $5 million in companies, and this will be the only financing that the company will need." Four Angel investors also participated in the round."Streamload is helping you with your digital content management and allows to store and receive files anywhere and anytime. The nice thing is the storage and better the streaming options:
"Other services just give you storage. unlimited capacity, unlimited access, and unlimited speed. Our unique technology allows us to handle files of all sizes. Plus it detects popular music and movies --- so you don't pay for storage."It seems like an alternative to the recently much hyped Mirra Server.
