This one (SES 2007 San Jose) was my first SES ever - shame on me!

However I found SES a quite pleasurable conference. The organization was top-notch incl. registration and food. Sessions tended to be interesting with good presenters and really good Q&A sessions. Most booths were actually pretty interesting too with more than just the usual suspects. Best booth clearly GenieKnows with Wii and Xbox for game addicts like me. It really helped to kill some time :)

The evening event last Tuesday was Google Dance at the global headquarters of Google. Google brought on Karaoke, beach volleyball, pool and video games too. However we were surprised to see so many Google people at the event. All wearing Google 'uniform' - jeans and t-shirt. Google celebrated itself and SES attendees were invited to take part - it felt a little over-the-top. But what do I know...

Anyway SES really got me - hope I can be there again.
