PE Hub published a interesting interview with Mark Heeson a few days ago. Heeson is the president of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA).
The interview examines a number of issues - ranging from legislative priorities to the need to improve the IPO climate.
Heeson says the NVCA plans to put its own ideas up for consideration as the new Obama Administration begins looking at future regulation of the financial markets.

The interview examines a number of issues - ranging from legislative priorities to the need to improve the IPO climate.
Heeson says the NVCA plans to put its own ideas up for consideration as the new Obama Administration begins looking at future regulation of the financial markets.
Today we've seen a perfect storm of investors sitting on the sidelines, and regulation that's been made for one size fits all. So the question is what can we do as an industry, and what can the government do? We're working on this right now, and will be putting out proposals next month on the whole capital markets process. You can read the whole interview at PE Hub's web site, here.
