Just discovered in Google Earth - Panaramio - the photo sharing site that combines photos with a geocode. This was a feature I was always hoping for in Flickr. But no you don't have to manually remember the long geocode - Panoramio has a Slick interface that let's you search for a place and then you just need to drag and drop a google maps pin to mark the exact location.

Now I just need that camera with a GPS add-on...
##Update Sam just send in Flickr's approach to geo mapping. So apparently it is all there I just never saw it in Flickr treasure of options. Thanks Sam - my fault!

Thanks for the hint, this is an awesome website. The integration of photos into Google Maps is a great idea. I have just uploaded a bunch of photos. It's a pity that there are not so many photos yet, at least of German places. But I think the site will grow quickly.
