I discovered two different programs today that enable a P2P distribution of software.
BitTorrent
and
JoltidI really like the underlying idea, which was first dicussed a year or so ago. The capability to share bandwith, CPU, storage with millions of anonymous other computer on the net is challenging. A google like OS could give a basis for the communication of these clients. If you need capacity you just rent computing power in a pay as you go plan. Let's see what comes up next in this direction.
