Online M&A exchanges

Michael sends in this interesting piece about online M&A exchanges from Boston Business Journal:
" He eventually put the kibosh on the advisory search. "I was saying to myself, 'These guys are going to tell me what my business is worth? They sell pizza parlors,' " said Dougherty, who eventually turned to a local startup that specializes in selling Internet-based companies. That firm, eBizBrokers Inc., has since doubled its revenue every year, proving to be a broker of choice for many technology-laden businesses.
Having sold his share of technology firms, Field said most brokers have embraced the benefits of the Web and are improving their grasp of technology in general. Today a handful of Internet sites, namely BizBuySell.com and GlobalBX.com, dominate the online business classifieds."
We also had some coverage back in 2003 about the same topic.
