Netscreen a provider of Enterprise security solutions has stepped forward with a bid to buy Neoteris. The deal repordetly has a value of USD 295 mio. in cash and stocks. Neoteris develops several products for secure remote access to a company's network like the Instant Virtual Extranet. It received USD 15 mio. in a round led by New Enterprise Associates in 01/2002 and USD 17.5 mio in another round in 03/2003 led by Battery Ventures.
