After some time there are some more sophisticated business models besides ad packed P2P download clients.
Cachelogic has introduced a cache for ISP to decrease network traffic. I haven't seen any customer agreement yet. Jolid offers the same kind of technology having brought all the traffic with their clients :-)
A new file sharing program is earthstation5. It comes as an integrated package of filesharing, dating, chat software. I like the idea of encouraging of a more interactive communication. Although sending files instantly, todays download clients lack of real user interactivity. The IRC chats are just no working tool. A platform of communication within a certain comunity with more information abut others, while hiding the real identity could lead to a success selling value added services.
