new German Friendster

Stefan has successfully ventured into his first start-up. Finally he came to the right conclusion...:-)
His new project is Friendity, one of the better clones of Friendster. Actually it's the only reasonable one in German language. My tests for Friendity were pretty encouraging.
Stefan writes in detail about his ideas for the new venture:

"Where are the profits? Another one of those obvious questions. Those who have been following my weblogs know that I wouldn't do Friendity unless I saw some rather large business potential there. ... Thus, the biggest immediate priority is to gain a foothold and members. Anyway, 'nuff of the justifications. If you still want to take a shot at us, feel free. We can take it. ;-)"

However I'm sure a successful business model for most social software sites will evolve.
Another interesting concept which is very nice is his company weblog, a tool that is quite helpful to create a much more honest relationship with your customers. I'm convinced many start-ups will make use of company weblogs soon.
