multi media weblogs

Filed in archive Technology by tj on October 30, 2003

Weblogs as a personal content management system might have the power to manage most "public" files for individuals. However this vision is still flawed by complex setup, maintenance and poor bandwidthlinks. Netomat has developed easy to setup multimedia blogs, simplifying the setup process enormously. It allows individuals to create interactive presentations with photos, voice, drawings, and texts. It seems to be a pretty neat application. Unfortunately they do not support geocoding of locations with an instant search on maps.
However the concept appealed to investors; Netomat just raised $3 mio. in round B.
