more movie downloads with AOL

After a long test of staying power for many movie download services the field of service providers are finally reaching their audience. I tested T-Online's download service last weekend and I was quite surprised about the quality of the movie. It used 600kbit/s and there were no lost frames. Quite advanced....

AOL announced a partnership with Movielink recently for their broadband customers.

"AOL is betting on digital media as a way to persuade people to pay an additional $14.95 per month for its service on top of their existing broadband bill. AOL has been marketing its broadband service in hopes of stemming the defection of members from its dial-up service, which has witnessed heavy losses over the past year."
