Creative Weblogging sites need a better design - no doubt about this. The current design is up and running for almost 9 months and the company has grown from minimal to several highly trafficked sites already.
We are publishing these sites for you and would love to hear your feedback on what we should change in order to make it easier to read and better to enjoy.
Here are some of the things we already noticed.
* a layout that better scales according to the width of the browser
* less clutter
* a more 'modern' look
* a better focus on main functionalities
* helpful structuring for editorial and advertising
We would be happy about your feedback on what should be done.
Also if you are a web designer we would be delighted to see your comment (or email to recruiting at creative-weblogging.com) with more info how we can reach you.

- the two columns at the right side of the page should be more clearly blocked out. Those items currently give the unsettling impression of floating free in space now.
- the search box looks odd. Formatting the text "search" to the left would help. It's also expected for that to look like an actual button.
- move search to the top of the page.
- more contrast between items would be helpful. The entire layout is rather washed out in tone with little color contrast.
- on some sites the optimal advertising/content ratio may have been exceeded. You may want to entertain flexible ad rotation models to bring it back into balance (I can appreciate the need for revenue, so please take this with a grain of salt.)
Hope this helps!
