legal advice online
Filed in archive on July 4, 2003
Wired has featured an interesting article last month about online legal advice. Of course it's not a real advice, it's more a certain set of documents and prepared decision making support, but still it holds the promise to decrease costs of legal advice. I wonder if people really move from a real lawyer to a not insured low cost online advice?

Right, the question is, if this would fly eventually? It can not be established in Germany as there is a compulsory lawyer if you want to get divorced. But still there are quite some unnecessary legal processes....

Hello,
I've 'done' some credit cards and overdraft from HSBC Middle East (UAE) in value of about 18.000 euro based on my Canadian Passport and 'direct salary transfer'. Now I'm in Europe and I'm wondering if I have to pay back that money. The question is how the bank is going to make me pay that money back (if it's going to come after me here, in Europe). Any advice is more than welcomed.
Thank You,
Cal
