I came across Jason Caplains blog today - he asks if the Number of Active Blogs on the Decline? and suggests that this is the case.
Have we reached the climax in blog growth? Jason cites Blogcount and LiveJournal statistics but they do not say too much. Is there any good stats for updated blogs that I might have missed?
Appreciate your help!

You have a great blog going here. I wanted to comment as I am new to the blogosphere, but excited to be part of it. When one of my partners mentioned to me about sixmonths ago he had started a blog I laughed. However, here I am now posting six times in the last day and craving blogs well into the night. It is such an amazing networking tool and the real frontier for honest information from real people. As a college based entrepreneur it is important to leverage your resources, and I believe atleast in my demographic you will see continued growth and acceptance.
