Through Venturewire comes word from Netblue's first round with an astonishing volume of US$ 20 million in Series A. I really like the company's webiste with a no non-sense approach and simple navigation. Also the companies mission is simple to understand:
"Netblue was founded in 2002 with the vision of making customer acquisition on the Internet simple and efficient. Today, Netblue delivers over one million profitable customers a year to major consumer marketers - all on a pay-for-performance basis. Our clients include the largest credit card issuers and consumer subscription companies in the country. What makes me wonder is where is the scalable piece of technology inside? Netblues seems to be an intermediary that looks for the same prey as Google or Advertising.com sales people. Maybe I miss something?
Netblue's approach is simple: our clients tell us how much they would like to pay per customer and we deliver them a large quantity of high quality customers."
