Innocentive has been residing in my boomarks for some two years now - great news today:
"InnoCentive today announced it has closed a $9 million Series A Preferred venture capital financing round led by Spencer Trask Ventures, Inc., a New York-based venture capital firm. Additionally, joining the round were Lilly Ventures and Omidyar Network. It was also announced that InnoCentive founder, Alpheus Bingham, Ph.D., has been appointed as InnoCentive president and CEO, and will retire from his position as vice president for Lilly Research Laboratories, a division of Eli Lilly and Company."
I love Innocentive for their knowledge driven business model. No inventory - all p2p connections - lovely!
