For a change a Hungarian start up 'Laserbit' has raised 7 Mio. in the third round of funding. Unfortunately it has its business in a real over funded area - a proprietary technology for broadband access. I personally wouldn't invest in this a penny, but obviously a couple of new companies have been funded in US, too.
Most importantly I hope some of the money in this round goes to a better website. Terrible as of now.

What about hiring someone who is going to fix all the grammatical errors on their website as well?
Given the fact that they've just raised a decent amount of money this should be no major problem.
