Helping startups - with free advertising

Always since setting up this company, we felt heavily read blogs are the ideal way to help a startup to get their message out. Blogs have a tightly defined readership that loves to take part in discussions and if the product is good enough, spreads the message for free throughout the blogosphere.


We have therefore introduced an option to allow startups that have won at least one major award i.e. awarded by a publication (i.e. VentureWire Top Ten) or event organizer (i.e. being at D@MO) to put banners in heavy rotation here for free.


We think such advertisements would be ok for our readers too as they deliver news about hardly known and innovative products.
