Techdirt discusses another point which was around for some time. What is the future of copyrights? Instead of unsuccessfully prosecuting violators of copyrights, a tax for any broadband connection should be introduced.

The income in this fund gets distributed in the same share, artists and media companies achieve sales offline. The key proposition in such a market would be the high performance distribution of files. This will bring P2P networks a (than legal) boom.
