McKinsey has published a new report saying that Europe is in Acute danger to loose its edge as business location for high tech companies.

The report finds only 17% of the world's biggest high tech companies in Europe. Especially damaging is the picture within the software industry where only 3 European companies reach a level of 1 billion Euro in revenues.

14 US companies have mastered this.
