Do you know coComment?

Just came back from lunch with the founders of CoComment. CoComment is busy building a new part of the blogosphere - the commentsphere.

The idea behind CoComment is to have all your comments in one place irrespective on where and on what platform you leave them. Comments therefore become more valuable as they are trackable (means you actually see what other people are saying), 'syndicatable' (i.e. to your blog's sidebar) and ordered by conversations (think Gmail).

CoComment does not share the typical Silicon Valley roots - it is a spin-off of Swisscom's innovation department. However the team seems to be very entrepreneurial and seems on a pretty good way towards making this company a hit.

So let's see what Sand Hill Road will say about it.
