Trigence promises to capture and capsule an application in its working stage and let's you backup and install it somewhere else. The company shows this on two Linux servers.

Seems it is a Linux/Solaris only solution - it was never that hard to do that in Linux without much haggling. But the company is planning for other OS too - would be cool for Windows!

nComputing - www.ncomputing.com

nComputing has the $100 computer - simply through sharing the resources of one computer. nComputing sells to the developing world - a modern machine supports 6-7 users (but you still need a screen and a keyboard!).

This is a simple but cool idea that undoubtedly makes money.

PostPath - www.postpath.com

PostPath is a Linux based Email server that plugs natively into Exchange. The demo is very impressive - Postpath is a full Outlook/ Exchange alternative and interacts seemlesslessly with Exchange.

There is a big backlash against Exchange and PostPath might be able to use this to get into this market.

Probably one of the best products at DEMO so far.

Teneros - www.teneros.com

Teneros that was here last years with an Exchange failover solution. This year they are presenting a WAN failover solution that makes it easy to use an external server outside of the LAN. Seems Teneros was able to generate quite some leads from last years DEMOfall - interesting that they are back again so quickly.

BriteSoft - www.britesoftcorp.com

BriteSoft has a new approach to combine components from existing programs to create a new ones.

Widgetbox - www.widgetbox.com

Widgetbox is a community for widget users and developers. It has developed quite some impressive set of tools to support bloggers and widget makers.

At Creative Weblogging we have some widgets we would like to make and provide to our users soon.
