Azos AI has a range of product that helps you to keep your cell phone in an emergency mode. When on eMode cell phone prioritize incoming security alerts. Not sure how the integration will take place.

Strike Force is shipping a product called WebSecure which helps you to fight key loggers. It simply encrypts data and circumvents the usual weak points.

MI5 has the courage to use PowerPoint at DEMO (that is supposed to be forbidden here). The company is blocking spyware though and removes it from your system - we have seen this haven't we?

ASTAV presents a solution that allows to login and secure transactions through a phone rather than on a screen. Nice guys but I'm pretty sure that we have a no winner here...weird solution. Maybe I'm not getting this.

PayWi helps to pay transactions through a mobile phone client. It's a Java application that has some nice sharing functionalities. Just not sure who is accepting this payment system.

PaybyTouch makes it possible to pay with your fingerprint. Not long ago I saw tests how easy it is to trick biometric systems. I can only hope PaybyTouch is very safe or this thing will be super difficult.

PaybyTouch is not really a startup anymore - they have raised >$150 million so far in equity and convertible security notes.

Hear the podcast with presentations from Azos AI, Strike Force, MI5, ASTAV, PayWi and PaybyTouch.

Shimon Systems promises to make your Wifi secure. If a user wants to log on to a Wifi network a user has to leave her/his fingerprint. Seems pretty simple and helpful if you are concerned about your Wifi security.

Cesura monitors IT infrastructure and reports when problems occur. The ideal customer is a large online retailer that needs 100% uptime with quick analysis where the lacking performance stems from.

FortifySoftware helps to secure applications against hacker attacks. It strengthens the software itself by fortifying the Java Code. Not sure if it also works without Java...

Ironport did 4 rounds of capitalization so far raising $91 million. They started 3 years ago at DEMO and show of their newest product today that scans all inbound web traffic and gives all of them a reputation ranking. Only traffic with a certain ranking goes through. So basically it is a spam filter not just for your inbox but for your whole network working with 1GigBit/s.

Frontporch is a clever solution that allows an IT Department to broadcast cleanup or security alerts. So when you browse next time you will get the cleanup message instead of Google. The upcoming page is filled with removal instructions.

TestedTech blocks IP traffic from suspicious domains that could have been started by potential hackers. For me this is a little bit of a overkill firewallslinks already permit IP blocking and too strong blocking can also block out legitimate traffic.

Hear the podcast with presentations from Shimon Systems, Cesura, FortifySoftware, Ironport, Frontporch and TestedTech.

EvokeTV brings ratings and social networking to TV. User at the site can rate TV shows or parts of it. Seems a little clunky ...

DEMO is also going to China - DemoWorld is a new part of DEMO that will first take place in China in early September 2006. Also DEMO will be back in September 2006 with DEMOFall.

One thing you might not know about DEMO, is their weird corporate structure. DEMO is owned by NetworkWorld. It is however part of the IDG conferences syndicate. There are pretty little synergies between NetworkWorld and DEMO you might think and by being here I realized there are only very few of them indeed. However DEMO seems to be one of the very profitable survivors from the 2000 boom.

Hear the podcast with presentations from EvokeTV and DEMO's China plans.
