DAB in UK

The Economist features a small but noteworthy article about DAB in UK. The Extraordinary thing, some 20% of purchasers are female :-) So DAB is getting mainstream in UK now. However it's very quite about DAB in Germany. There has been a lot of media attention some years back, but nothing recent. Does anybody owe a device or do we all wait for UMTS flatrates?
