Good news to share today - our first investment round is complete.

"Creative Weblogging Ltd. Completes First Round of Financing

PALO ALTO, CA, November 2nd, 2005 -- Creative Weblogging Ltd, a leading blog media network, has successfully completed its first investment round.

The company has raised an undisclosed amount from Angel investors to expand and publicize its 45-strong network of technology- and consumer-focused blogs that currently attract more than one million readers a month.

Investing angels include German technology pioneers:

-- Nils Weitemeyer and Jan Andresen, co-founders of mobile entertainment provider Elkware (http://www.elkware.com)

-- Stefan Wiskemann - co-founder of community publishing solutions provier 21Publish (http://wwww.21publish.com)

"The substantial investment confirms our vision of the high value of a blog media network." said Creative Weblogging CEO Torsten Jacobi. "We appreciate the trust our investors have shown in us."

Jacobi said that the company will use proceeds to add several hundred vertical blogs and hire additional sales, marketing, technical and editorial staff. The company already works with 40 part timers and executive editors with experience from About.com, MSNBC, and Time Inc and Washington Post."
