clever mobile service idea

Robert points me to a smart yet simple idea for a useful mobile phone service. The service enables everyone (individuals or SMEs) with a phone to create a simple homepage that will be shown via imode, WAP, internet.

"A phonepage is a homepage for mobile phones stored on the Internet and linked to a specific phone number. Our technology enables automatic display of phonepages at phone calls. A phonepage converts automatically to any mobile phone format e.g. WAP, Pocket PC or i-mode - in color or B/W. In addition, we have developed a solution to push phonepages automatically to mobile phones."

The service could work perfectly to give background information for businesses such as special menus for restaurants, best deal available and so on. It's something else then the ubiquitous ringbones...
