On July 23rd we had launched our "Business Plan Surgery" inviting entrepreneurs to get feedback on their business plan.
We had some very encouraging feedback and here is our TOP 3:
TOP 1 - Optimal Trading Technologies (OTT) - OTT will provide automated equity trade execution strategies to institutional investors and electronic
broker/dealers.
I really liked the idea on how the team around OTT wants to launch their product in a less served niche of the financial industry. Especially their strategy to keep costs low and convince first clients in parallel seemed very appealing to me.
TOP 2 - VERAX - VERAX's "VeraxPay" is a payment and fund transfer system that was specifically designed to serve markets that traditional systems do not serve, under-serve or serve at excessive cost.
While the market for world-wide international funds transfer has been boosted by the Internet (think Paypal) there is still much space for payment processors that serve the countries with very basic infrastructure. Verax might be on a good track as also the recent round for Ippays has shown.
TOP 3 - comes in MAGMA ZAFR s.r.o. that aims to develop a hot water spa in Slovakia. Central Europe has been less then well served with wellness facilities so far and has the advantage of cheap labor costs. A world-class spa for clients from Germany and Austria could easily fill a market void.
We thank all participants of our Business Plan Surgery and hope we could add some value to their ambitious business plans. If you are also in the phasis of proving your business idea we would be happy to assist you with checking your executive summary.
