Brightmail the market leader in anti-spam solutions is looking for an IPO that is expected to value the company at $80 million. I must admit I'm pretty surprised how strong this market has developed. 3 years ago it was close no non-existent and just some hundreds of spammers have created a billion dollar market. My longtime favorite has always been the clever open-source approach from Cloudmark. Cloudmark brings the idea of SpamAssasin to Outlook users.
