Technorati has been a centerpiece of th blogosphere but irrespective of how much money that sinks into the company they can't handle their performance. For months every second search there times out as well most API calls. I have never built a search engine but guys can it be so hard?

Now Peter hints me to a great alternative BlogPulse that has a clean search interface and cites inbound links pretty exactly.
