I just finished Michael Wolff's Autumn of the Moguls a book that is devoted to the modern media moguls and media landscape in NYC. It essentially covers a media conference in Manhattan and his role in preparing and organizing it. But the real topic is the indulgences of people in the media business he has learned to know in the last two decades. However the book is quite confusing and is often seems more a series of newspaper columns made fit to (book) print. Interesting book to learn more about the bubble times in media but no lifetime learnings in it.
