a look at recent IPOs

Have you checked the NASDAQ IPO lists recently? I find it quite interesting which companies have filed or withdrawn from thier IPO.
Most interesting in the moment for me were:
- Portal Player - a company that claims to be behind many actual media jukeboxes:
Crack open the majority of music jukeboxes today and inside you'll find PortalPlayer silicon and software.
We are the leading provider of the core technologies behind the next generation of consumer electronics devices --- personal media players that capture, store, playback and display your entire collection of music, photos, images and video.
With 47 million in revenues quite a well established company you may think.
- the other one is 51Jobs.com a Chinese Monster.com Job Portal. I can't read the site but Business 2.0 has more about. The company has had a stellar performance since the listing started. Must be something behind? The company had a third quarter revenue of 15 million mostly from advertising and search fees - quite impressive. However the company is not cheap with a market cap of 1 billion which it has reached recently.
